INK & INTUITION
Women Write On

5_edited.jpg
Writing for health is an act of defiant survival.
A radical self-protective mechanism,
it reduces stress,
increases clarity of thinking and connects us more deeply to ourselves and our power.

why?

Belonging to reflective & supportive communities we create an energy and an alchemy for change and growth we can't achieve alone.

There aren't enough collective spaces where we pause together, gather, breathe. When we make space to connect to ourselves, to feel and listen deeply to our own inner knowledge; when we carve out time to listen and hear our own thoughts and insights, and to absorb those of other women, ripples of truthfulness and change span out and encircle us.

Women write on is about prioritising well-being, making space for self and allowing the quiet truths to emerge without distractions and interruptions.

Who?

I am a qualified Integrative Arts Therapist, Counsellor Artist and Facilitator. I love group-work. I love creating spaces where together we help each other to become more than we once were.

I am kind, curious, playful and passionate about building supportive communities in which we thrive.

As the artist Monica Sjoo says "Sisterhood is Powerful"

Session Structure

A creative prompt is given

And we settle into focussed flow, quietly comtemplative we allow things to emerge

We then write uninterrupted

We write to allow ourselves the gift of expression without judging what comes. We trust that growth is occurring as we allow words to flow.

We regroup and reflect

Some women may want to share what they've written. Others may not.
This is about listening to what feels right for you. Gathering up the insights and weaving them into

For an hour a week
a space is cleared,

a candle lit

a pen held

We give ourselves the gift
of quiet focussed time.
We listen in and wait,
trusting the knowledge

that our insights will emerge

we take the time to connect
and hear the truth of ourselves.

Held by a wide-web of sister-hood
we allow ourselves space to process, to progress

to connect to our own innate resourcefulness

And feel grounded.
